On 7 June 2011, details were published of the new Government ‘Prevent’ Strategy. In particular, the strategy had a focus on campus issues.
John Mann MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism said of the campus measures:
“We look forward to practical guidelines being issued as a consequence. We will continue to work with Jewish students and others towards this goal.”
The chair of the APPG Against Antisemitism, John Mann MP has commissioned a Parliamentary Inquiry into Electoral Conduct. The purpose of the inquiry is to investigate and evaluate the effectives of existing lines of responsibility and accountability in managing elections and, specifically, charges of misconduct during elections with a particular focus on racism and discrimination.
