German Antisemitism Inquiry Reports

The German Parliament has just published its report on antisemitism (in German).  Differing slightly from the UK model of inquiry, a board of experts was commissioned to do the work by the German Bundestag. An English translation of the report will follow shortly.

This news follows the recent report of the Italian Inquiry Committee into antisemitism chaired by vice-president of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Fiamma Nirenstein.

The Italian committee was instituted by the President of the Chamber of Deputies in 2009 and consists of a 26 cross-party MPs from the Institutional and Foreign Affairs committees

John Mann MP, chairman of The UK All-Party Parliamentary Group against Antisemitism said: “I am delighted to see other countries, other politicians, examining this important issue and helping move us all forward towards a more tolerant global society.”
