Panorama Programme

22 November 2010 (Press Release)

Panorama is set to air a programme which presents evidence of antisemitic teachings in more than 40 Saudi Students’ Schools and Clubs. The Saudi Government and Embassy have distanced themselves from these institutions.

The APPG welcomes Secretary of State Michael Gove MP’s comments that the Government will not tolerate antisemitic and homophobic lessons being taught in British Schools and his intention to work with OFSTED on how to ensure part-time provision is “better registered and better inspected in the future”

John Mann MP said: “Indoctrinating children with hatred is despicable. It is only through children of different faiths (and none) learning together, reaching out to one another and working towards common goals that we will become a more tolerant society””
