John Randall was elected Member of Parliament for Uxbridge in July 1997. Immediately following his election he was appointed to the Deregulation Select Committee. John has also been a member of the Environment, Transport and Regional Affairs Select Committee and its Environment Sub-Committee. John was appointed as an Opposition Whip in 1999. In December 2005, he became Opposition Assistant Chief Whip and in May 2010, John was appointed Deputy Chief Whip (Treasurer of HM Household).
