Luciana Berger MP

Luciana Berger grew up in Wembley, on the edge of London and now lives in Picton, Liverpool.

After doing degrees at Birmingham and London Universities – and being a national student leader – she went to work for the management consultancy, Accenture. Working in their Government Strategy Unit, she advised the Treasury and several other government departments on their effectiveness.

Luciana then headed the Government Affairs operation at the NHS Confederation – campaigning for the NHS within Westminster and Whitehall. Most recently, she ran the Labour Friends of Israel.

Luciana has been a school governor and a safer neighbourhood representative, speaks fluent Spanish and some French and enjoys running and cinema, particularly British and Bollywood films. She was elected as Member of Parliament for Liverpool Wavertree in 2010.
