Lillian Greenwood MP

Lillian Greenwood is the member of Parliament for Nottingham South, having lived in and around Nottingham for 17 years.  

Educated at Cannon Slade in Bolton, St Catherine’s College Cambrudge and Southbank University, London, she has a BA in economics and social and political science and an MSc in sociology and social policy.

Before her election to Parliament, Lillian worked for trade unions including the NALGO (1988-9) and GMB (1989-92) and for the public sector trade union, Unison from 1992-2010.

She married Ravi Subramanian in 2008 and has 3 daughters. She is a member of a running club and also enjoys reading and cinema.
