Lee Scott MP

Lee Scott was elected to Parliament in the General Election of May 2005 for the Ilford North constituency.

Lee has lived in Redbridge for most of his life and was educated locally as were his children. He is married to Estelle. His interests range from supporting local charitable and sporting events to listening to music.

Before election to Parliament he worked as professional raising money for various national and international charities. He previously served as a Councillor on the London Borough of Redbridge.

Lee’s voluntary service has included working for Victim Support, the Barkingside Youth Centre Committee and the Acorns appeals committee at Whipps Cross Hospital and being a governor of local schools.

Lee served as a member of the Commons Health Select Committee from 2005 to 2008. In 2007 he was appointed to the Transport Select Committee.
