David Evennett MP

David Evennett was first elected to Parliament in 1983 for the Erith and Crayford constituency, serving until 1997. He was the Conservative candidate for Bexleyheath and Crayford in 1997 and 2001, returning to Parliament as the MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford in 2005. He was an Opposition Whip from 2005 to 2009 and Shadow Minister for Further and Higher Education from 2009-10.

David was re-elected in 2010 with over 50% of the vote. He is currently PPS to Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Education.
