Oxford Regional Event

Over 70 people joined Parliamentarians Nicola Blackwood MP (Conservative – Oxford West and Abingdon) and Baroness Ruth Deech (Crossbench/Independent) on Thursday 3 November for the 4th regional event on Parliamentary efforts to combat antisemitism. The panel was completed by APPG Director Danny Stone and Mark Gardner, the Deputy Director of Communications for the CST and was chaired by Professor Raymond Dwek. Questions ranged from how best to deal with antisemitic bullying in schools to the challenges of tackling online hate. The key message which ran through the panel’s comments was the need for good education against intolerance.
