Birmingham Regional Event

Some 50 people  joined Parliamentarian Lorely Burt MP (Liberal Democrat – Solihull) on Monday 21 November for the 5th regional event on Parliamentary efforts to combat antisemitism. Sadly, Khalid Mahmood MP was unable to attend due to personal circumstances and we wish him well.  The panel was completed by APPG Director Danny Stone and Mark Gardner, the Deputy Director of Communications for the CST and was chaired by Birmingham student campaigns organiser Sophia Miller. Questions ranged from how best to deal with sensetionalism in the press to how one should deal with sensitive political issues without being considered prejudiced. It was a lively and entertaining discussion and we hope to return to the city before long.
