Pre-Launch of Government response to All-Party Antisemitism Inquiry

On Tuesday 14 December, the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) hosted a pre-launch of the third Government response to the All-Party Inquiry into Antisemitism.

The meeting was addressed by Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at DCLG Andrew Stunell MP, the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks and John Mann MP.

Eric Pickles remarked that anyone born in the 20th century would know the corrosive effect of antisemitism and that he would ensure that Government continued to work hard on the issue. Andrew Stunell highlighted some of the Government successes, whilst the Chief Rabbi thanked everyone for their hard work and set out the remaining challenges for Government and the All-Party Group. Lastly, John Mann highlighted the importance of the cross-party approach in tackling antisemitism and re-stated his continuing commitment to the campaign.
